Say hello to sweet Baby Caleb. This family is one of the Mommy's First Peek Newborn Photography Giveaway winners. Mama couldn't have been more excited to be receiving this session for her new little one. The three of them came to my Glendora studio for his newborn session. This little guy was determined to stay awake and not miss a minute. With so much going on around him, who could blame him? Once he fell asleep we got some gorgeous images that incorporated their interests. One of the things I love about doing newborn sessions is when families bring a bit of themselves into the session. This baby boy's mama shared her love of football, while daddy wanted to include his love of music. Contact Me to book your session.

This adorable 11 day old baby girl was welcomed into the world via home birth at a whopping 11 pounds 4 ounces. She came into my studio at Mommy's First Peek - Norco with her mommy, daddy, and big sister. This family has come to me for both of their little girl's newborn sessions. Big sister was one of my first newborns three years ago. At baby Leah's newborn session, mommy and daddy were still deciding on a name for her. (I don't know if you're aware of this, but home birth has different paperwork requirements than hospitals. Babies usually have their birth paperwork filed weeks later. Parents have time to really think about what name fits their new little one.) Several ideas had been presented. My favorite was big sister's pick...Panda. Siblings are so creative when helping so select names for new babies. I love it when they take such joy in their sibling.
I was so excited to be chosen to photograph this maternity session for gorgeous mama expecting her rainbow baby girl. When I first spoke with the mama-to-be, she said that she wanted to acknowledge her rainbow baby in a subtle way in light, airy photos. I found the perfect location and decided to add some magic to her photos with a rainbow lens flare and rainbow confetti tossing. We met at a beautiful outdoor location in Azusa, which is actually a trailhead parking lot. Pulling into the parking lot, I'm sure mama questioned my location choice. But I especially loved the wood fence and tall grasses. Since we were outdoors in the middle of summer, I came prepared with bug repellent stickers that we placed all over our bodies. Before the session was over, I was covered in orange bug repellent stickers and bug bites. The next day I counted 5 itchy mosquito bites on my face. The mosquitoes didn't care that we were trying to deter them. Mama is wearing two lovely gowns by Chicaboo. Contact Me to schedule your session.
Meet Baby Gabriel! This sweet 13 day old newborn boy was the perfect welcome back from my maternity leave. I actually returned a few days early to photograph this adorable little one. I didn't want to wait another week, in hopes that he would still be in the sleepy newborn phase that occurs during the first two weeks after birth. The whole family came to my Norco studio in Mommy's First Peek to take part in this sweet little baby boy's photography session. Mom, dad, big sisters, and grandma were so excited to welcome this new addition to their family. While the little guy wanted to be awake, his big sisters slept soundly on the couch during most of the session. So funny. But both big sister's (who, as it turns out, have the same name) wanted a turn holding their little brother. It was so sweet! I couldn't blame them with all of this cuteness going on. One thing I can say for sure is that this little guy is so loved. Contact Me today.
Say hello to this cute baby boy! He was already 15 days old when we met for his newborn photography session. Mama, daddy, and sweet baby Jackson came down to my Mommy's First Peek studio in Norco, with daddy's fatigues in tow. (We even got to use them!) I was so excited to learn that Baby Jackson arrived shortly before his father's separation from the military. During his time in the service, this little guy's daddy spent a lot of time away from his family. At the time of Jackson's newborn photography session, his daddy only had a few more weeks of service before coming home to be with mama and baby full-time. It's a small price to pay for the time that they will be able to spend together. The session started out with some sleepy baby smiles, but Jackson quickly decided that he would rather be awake during his modeling debut. There were lots of adorable baby smiles, yawns, and stretches. All of his wakefulness was exhausting and we were able to fly through two more set-ups while he slept peacefully. His mama fell in love with my bear hats, so we included as many as possible in his images. Isn't he the cutest cuddling a bear stuffie? Contact Me to book your session.
