Destiny and Luis were so casual about their maternity session. No big deal. Just a couple of prego photos. Cute little belly. But, can you believe how gorgeous these two are together? Destiny is adorable already, but, then she put on this maternity gown and she was so glamorous. Everywhere we walked in the park was perfect for them. <3 Sit on that bench - super sexy. Cuddle up in that field - chemistry.

Despite all this, my favorite part of their session was that Destiny decided to include a memorial necklace. As the light was fading I focused on her little belly, while she held her necklace. And, for a few short moments, she got to love on the sweet boy growing in her belly and connect with the loved ones she has lost. I'm so honored when clients choose to share a bit of their life with me.
 
I can't wait to photograph their sweet little man when he arrives next month. Destiny is hoping for a Halloween baby, but we'll have to see. Babies arrive on their own time.

Seaweed Athena Gown by Chicaboo

Daisy and I worked together to find the perfect dress for her maternity session. Although I brought a few gowns with me, she loved the blue and felt that it represented the little boy growing who would be joining their family in a few short weeks.

When we arrived, I was surprised to see that she brought along her husband and little one. I thought it would be mama only. Surprise! Haha! Without the addition of her hubby and sweet little girl we wouldn't have these precious maternity images. Can you believe these two told me that they aren't naturally affectionate?!?!

 Say hello to this little bundle of cuteness. Baby A came to me last week, after he'd just turned 3 months old and his mama wanted so much to have a newborn session for him. He dark curls and the most perfect skin. Gah! We met at my Norco, CA studio in Mommy's First Peek. 

His mama and I weren't sure how much he would sleep during the session. I have to say that he did Ah-Mazing! We were able to get wrapped, posed, sleepy, and awake shots. It was so much fun to work with him. I can't wait to show you the shots with his mama. It's the perfect combination of mama snuggles and eye contact from Baby A. (Scroll down to see the cuteness!!! This little baby boy made his way to my Mommy's First Peek studio with his sweet mama and daddy at eight days old. Andrew made his mama wait a little past his due date before he made his arrival. (I think babies like to do things on their own time. Don't you?) At his newborn photography session, he was a little bundle of sweetness with adorable blonde hair highlights. My own little guy (who is five now) had the sweetest blond highlights by the time he was 6 months old. I love to see this trait on the little babes I get to snuggle and photograph.

​As you can tell, mama had a thing for blue. And it fit him just perfectly.

Say hello to this sweet baby boy. Little Garbriel was just 8 days old when I met him and got to hang out with him in his nursery. Once we settled in, he was just the curliest little poser. He must have loved all of the western items that we incorporated in his session. I have to say, this is one of my all-time favorite newborn sessions. All of these special family items are right up my alley. All the heart eyes! During his newborn session, we were able to use great-grandpa's cattle brand, daddy's rope and boots, and baby boy's own saddle.
