These moments are so fleeting - your growing belly, that you caress and balance ice cream bowls on. It doesn't matter if it's your first pregnancy or your fifth, it's such a special time in your life.

Scheduling Your Maternity Session
I recommend scheduling your maternity session during the third trimester, between 32 and 36 weeks. The idea is to come when you are comfortable and have a nice round belly.
To ensure that I am able to photograph you during your pregnancy, make a note to contact me during the second trimester of your pregnancy.
Plan that your maternity session will take up to an hour.

*If you would like photographs with siblings or your partner, please schedule the Premium or Deluxe Maternity Session. Neutrals and earth tones are best for family shots.

The Day of Your Maternity SessionBefore the session, remember to eat and drink plenty of fluids. Plan to relax and enjoy your session. I will work to capture your uniquely beautiful pregnancy physique.
ATTIRE: We will discuss clothing and session style prior to the session. For the mama-to-be, a solid or floral maxi or fitted dress photograph beautifully. Expectant mamas should also wear a nude bra and thong. Family members should coordinate with the mama-to-be. For family outfits, choose similar colors, as well as avoid crazy prints and large logos. Feel free to send me your outfit choices prior to the session. Keep in mind that I offer a small selection of maternity gowns, wraps, and other necessities. |
DAY-OF REMINDERS:
- Plan to bring along water and, maybe, a snack. It's often hot out and mamas frequently forget to hydrate. I just want to make sure you and baby are taken care of.
- Bring along comfortable shoes for walking. If you want to wear fancy ones in the session, we can carry them and change before we start photographing. (However, mamas often find that shoes don't matter much in a long flowing gown.)
- I'll bring along a changing tent for mamas wearing a gown for the session, so that you can put on your dress once you arrive.
- If there are any props you'd like to incorporate into the session (e.g., ultrasound photo, sign), make sure to bring those along too.
Given the current health crisis, I want you to know that the safety of your family and my own is my top priority. Because of this, I am fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Additionally, if it would help you feel more comfortable, I will wear a mask for the duration of the session.
After Your Maternity SessionFollowing your maternity session I will post a sneak peek on my Facebook or Instagram page.
You will have the opportunity to view session proofs, via online gallery, approximately one week after your session. Your gallery will remain open and available for ordering for 5 days. Products will arrive within 3 weeks of your order being placed. Do you need a little extra help making your ordering decisions? I am also available to meet with you for an in-person ordering appointment. Ordering sessions are available upon request and held by appointment only. |

We offer 3 levels of Maternity photography sessions for your convenience. Premium Maternity Collection | $800 Includes styled session at an outdoor location and your custom edited images in an online gallery (30+ Digital Images). These sessions are open to mama + family. Deluxe Maternity Collection | $500 Includes styled session at an outdoor location and 15 Digital Images with print release. These sessions are open to mama + family. Petite Maternity Collection | $250 Includes styled session at an outdoor location and 5 Digital Images with print release. These sessions are mama only. *This session is around town or in local parks within 30 miles. Beach or mountain locations can be provided for an additional $50. A $100 retainer is due at the time of booking for all sessions. |
