​You're here! And, I'm so glad you put in the work to find the best photographer for your family. 

As part of your family photography session, we'll capture a mixture of posed and connection-based photographs of you and yours. Why? Because no one is exactly like you. No one snuggles their babies or kisses scraped knees or pushes their teens' hair out of their eyes in the same way you do. And, all of those little moments show the world who you are. Whether you have little ones in the midst of toddlerhood independence or a houseful of teens ready to head out into the world, your moments matter. You matter.

Scheduling Your Family Session

Family sessions are offered year-round. They take place outdoors just before sunset, usually on weekends. 

Let's connect! We can chat about the details and get you on my session calendar.

Plan that your family session will take place about an hour before sunset.
Mini Family  |  30 minutes    |    Full & Deluxe Family*  |  1 hour

*If you would like to incorporate extended family into your family photography session, please schedule the Full or Deluxe Family Session to ensure that we have enough time together. 

Styling Your Family Session

We will discuss clothing and session style prior to the session. But, here are a few tips that families have found helpful in the past.

• Think casual dressy. 
• Bring your individual taste to the pictures.
• A good rule of thumb is parents in neutrals and kids in brighter colors. (I love earth tones, maroons, navy, forest green!)
• ​Avoid being matchy - everyone in jeans and white t-shirts.
• Avoid too many different patterns.
• Avoid big, trendy logos on shirts.
• Wear something that you're comfortable in. Being comfortable boosts your confidence. 
• Allow your kiddos to choose something that speaks to their unique personality.

Finally, feel free to reach out for help. I am happy to help as much or as little as you need. I can help with making decisions or finding outfits to meet your needs, whether that's a specific style or budget. If you're just looking for feedback, you can also send me your outfit choices prior to the session.

The Day of Your Family Session

 Plan to relax and enjoy your session. I will work to capture your unique family and everything that entails.

REMINDERS:

• There's no need to stress about perfection during our time together. While I know it's difficult, try not to stress about how you look or how your kiddos are behaving during the session. Active kiddos and playful parents make for beautiful images and allow me to capture you connecting in ways that are meaningful to your family. 
• Plan to bring along water and, maybe, a snack (especially if you have little ones). I don't like to use the term bribery, but some well-timed goldfish or fruit snacks have been known to calm little ones who are struggling to adjust to being around someone new.
• Bring along comfortable shoes for walking. If you want to wear fancy ones in the session, we can carry them and change before we start shooting.

Given the current health crisis, I want you to know that the safety of your family and my own is my top priority. Because of this, I am fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Additionally, if it would help you feel more comfortable, I will wear a mask for the duration of the session.

After Your Family Session

Following your family session I will post a sneak peek on my Facebook or Instagram page. 

​You will have the opportunity to view session proofs, via online gallery, approximately one week after your session. Your gallery will remain open and available for ordering for 5 days.

Products will arrive within 3 weeks of your order being placed.

​Do you need a little extra help making your ordering decisions? I am also available to meet with you for a virtual ordering appointment. Ordering sessions are available upon request and held by appointment only.

All sessions are inclusive, with no further purchase required.

We offer 3 levels of Family photography sessions for your convenience.

Premium Family Collection  |  $800
Includes styled session at an outdoor location your and custom edited images in an online gallery (30+ Digital Images).

Deluxe Family Collection  |  $500
Includes styled session at an outdoor location and 15 Digital Images with print release.

​ Petite Family Collection  |  $250
Includes styled session at an outdoor location and 5 Digital Images with print release.

*This session is around town or in local parks within 30 miles. Beach or mountain locations can be provided for an additional $50.

A $100 retainer is due at the time of booking for all sessions.
